5th Grade Reading Goal
This year in fifth grade, you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself as a reader and to explore a variety of genres. By the end of fifth grade, you should try to read at least 20 books (of course, you can read more!).
This 20-book goal is meant to help you try out some genres you may not have read before and to grow as a reader. Throughout the year, you will keep track of the books and genres you read on a reading log to be kept in the Reading section of your accordion folder.
As part of the 20-book goal, you can include both books you may be reading at home and books that you are reading in school.
